At The Good Birth, I offer midwifery services that stem from updated evidence based care, supports the intuition of the mother and allows the natural process of birth to unfold. I provide personalized care that nurtures both body and spirit, supporting you through every stage of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.

What's Included?
Prenatal visits for low risk pregnancies
Labwork- initial OB panel, CBC, Glucose Tolerance Screen, GBS test (all of which, can be declined)
20 week Anatomy Scan Ultrasound
Birth Kit for Birth and Postpartum
Assistants to help me deliver exceptional care
- Beginning at 12 weeks, every 4 weeks until 28 weeks
- Every 2 weeks until 36 weeks
- Every week until baby is born
- Extra visits when needed for NST, emotional/physical check ins, etc.
Labwork- initial OB panel, CBC, Glucose Tolerance Screen, GBS test (all of which, can be declined)

Birth Kit for Birth and Postpartum
Assistants to help me deliver exceptional care
Postpartum 24 hour visit which includes state testing for baby (CCHD, Hearing Screening, and Metabolic Screening- all of which, can be declined) and vitals for both mother and baby.
Virtual support via text during business hours throughout pregnancy through postpartum
I will be on call for your birth beginning at 37 weeks
Birth Certificate and Social Security Card application
*$1000 deposit is due at the first visit and the remainder is due by 36 weeks before my team can be on call for your birth.
*Non-routine services that may be provided for an additional fee:
Virtual support via text during business hours throughout pregnancy through postpartum

“Allison Carlson was my midwife and I cannot say enough good things about her!! I was trying for a VBAC after having 2 c-sections and was nervous about the process of trying for a natural birth. She was so confident in me and my body it gave me the building blocks to believe in myself and trust my body. Which made ALL the difference for me. She is so knowledgeable, skilled, and capable. She was always learning new things and was able to answer any questions that I had about my pregnancy and the birthing process. I have a history of preeclampsia and possible gestational diabetes but I came to quickly trust and value her and her recommendations. This pregnancy while she was my midwife I had neither complication, and it was my healthiest, happiest, “easiest” pregnancy out of my 4 children. The birth of our son wasn’t easy at all and because of how fast it was, Allison was the only midwife that made it in time. Even working alone, she took care of everything so well. There were multiple things that happened during my birth that she handled quickly and skillfully. I never worried once while she was there. My mother, who was present at my birth, was also so impressed with how knowledgeable, kind and capable Allison was. She’s a rockstar.
